One Shot #157

‘come on, we’ll hire a little boat or something, it’ll be fun!’ the lovely Irish accent sounds in your ears, you can’t refuse his idea, it’s just too sweet, it’s you two, on a little boat on the most lovely lake in the world.

‘okay, alright, come on then.’ You take his hand and you walk towards the guy who hires the boats to people.

‘We’d like to hire a boat for the afternoon.’ Niall says.

‘Okay, I got one, you like an automatic one, or do you want a kind of canoe.’

‘we go for ‘a kind of canoe’. ‘ Niall says, taking his bag of his back and paying the guy.

‘okay, I need the canoe back at 7 pm, the sun is down by then.’ He says and wishes us a lot of fun.

We sit down in the canoe and go to the middle of the lake.

‘it’s so beautiful from here.. we should’ve done this earlier, we’ve been here so many times.’ You giggle.

‘yeah, we had to, but we didn’t, you didn’t dare!’ he chuckles, grabbing his back.

‘it is quite scary.. but also cute.’ You smile.

He gives you something in a bag, and you discover your favorite kind of food, he took it with him for both of you, it’s like pizza, but then in the shape of a slice of bread and the taste is a bit different as well.

‘I love you Niall, you’re the best boyfriend in the world.’ You kiss his lips as you finished your food, his lips still taste  a bit like it, which makes you smile. He goes with one of his hands through your hair, making a shiver go down your spine.

‘I love you too hun, come on, it’s getting dark, we’d better go back and watch the sunset from the balcony.’ He chuckled and you get back, splashing water on each other, and he kisses you passionately just before you get back to the place where you got into the canoe.

He takes your hand and you walk home through the little woods.

‘I love you [YN], it’s been a great day with you.’
